Grasshopper Vegan Restaurant
Location: 1 N Beacon Street Allston, MA 02134, between Cambridge Street and Brighton Avenue
The food was on another level, it was so amazing--the winton soup, the edamame, the "chicken" nuggets, and the vegetables tempura was so delicious! Everything was so affordable as well, we ordered so much and the price was so great for SO MUCH FOOD. This restaurant is seriously worth going to, especially if you want to have a bite out of everything with a group! P.S. Johanna loved the Vegetables Tempura, it was her favorite!

The people were super nice and very welcoming, they were showing us pictures of everything that was on the menu and even telling us the process! What was really cool was that they were telling us how the cups eventually turn into soil and then they can grow their peaches with that soil! This place is really thought out about everything they provide. The food was delicious, but a bit pricey for not that much! Johanna ordered the Chickpea Fritter Sandwich (which we really enjoyed) and I ordered the BBQ Seitan platter; for drinks: Plum Soda and Peach Soda (which we really loved!)

Looking for Desert in Boston? look no further cause SIB, when I tell you this was bomb--This was too good to be true. They let us try all the vegan flavors (and there are so many!) Lemon, Mango, Lampone, Fragola, Raspberry, Strawberry, Chocolate, Hazelnut, Banana, Melon, Banana, Passion Fruit, Mandarin, and Lime of Basil! We ended up having three flavors: Mango, Raspberry, and Mandarin! It was too delicious.

Veggie Galaxy

Veggie Galaxy blew our minds. Right when we go out of your plane ride, we went straight here and were so delighted with their amazing service and breakfast! We ordered the Avocado toast, Vegan Egg and Cheese served with baby arugula (or kale!), and home fries. This was by far, my favorite vegan place in Boston and Johanna can also agree to this statement. We were so sad we couldn't come for dinner, but we ate breakfast twice! When we got into Boston and our last time right before our flight. We cannot wait till Veggie Galaxy comes to New York City one day, we would be the first ones in line! Lastly, the prices were also affordable which is always a plus.

I made it into a vegan option and it was spicy I felt like I was on drugs haha! I asked for chilaquiles con super picosa y aguacate (as my salsa), sin lactos, carne, huevos and all that good stuff and I asked for extra aguacate!! This place is super punk rock and cute.

An all vegan bakery right down the street from Frida Kahlo's house!! They were super sweet ladies. I got the Galleta de Emoji and the Empanada Guayaba which was BOMB.
Corazon Vegano

This was at a cultural (hipster haha!) festival near Templo Mayor called Libre Liebre Bazar. I got the vegan calzone and I wish I could remember how they described it to me but they put so much love into their food and how it is made! He made me try all the vegan options before I paid which was was super cute and I told him I love spicy and saucy, so he drenched the chipotle sauce on it!
CDMX Farmer's Market
There was a CDMX Farmer's Market going on and tons of cute little markets! Of course a lot of it wasn't vegan but there was also lots of veggies and fruits to buy separately and we came across this cute little lady making pre-Latinx food from Tlahauc where she gives tours! I asked if she could making somethign vegan and she cooked up some of their OG beans that are purple (ayocotes) with champiñones, arroz, and she left me take some raw beans for the road haha. She was a cute lady!
Punto Gozadera

This is a QUEER, INTERSECTIONAL, Vegan Feminist Spot! WE ALL NEED TO BE THERE! They had bands playing and it was so beautiful I almost cried. I loved their gender inclusive bathroom, their merchandise, and all the cute people that were there! I felt safe.

Gatorta was super cute delicious and feeling and filled with punk folks and they were super sweet! I tried their Chorizo and Milanesa and gringas and I was honestly blow away by all their options!!
